Georgia is 1-0 after a season-opening win over Clemson on Saturday, and the Bulldogs are back in action this coming weekend. UGA takes on Tennessee Tech for the first game at Sanford Stadium this year.

Saturday’s contest will stream on ESPN+ and SEC Network+. It will not be available for viewing on television. However, fear not. If you are able to watch Georgia’s games normally, there’s a good chance you’ll still be able to tune in to see the season opener. Here’s how…

As part of the SEC-ESPN contract, ESPN has the right to air at least one non-conference game per school on ESPN+. SEC Network+ is complementary to the SEC Network and accessible at no additional charge to SEC Network subscribers with a customer’s TV provider credentials.  It can be accessed through the ESPN App on smartphones, tablets, connected streaming devices or via espn.com/watch. ESPN+ is a standalone streaming service that requires a subscription separate from a customer’s TV provider credentials.  It is available to stream through the ESPN App on connected devices and on ESPN.com. Fans seeking guidance on how to watch games on SEC+/ESPN+ should contact ESPN Customer Care at 1-888-549-3776 or go to support.espn.com/hc/en-us.

At the time of publication, DirecTV customers are left without the SEC Network and other channels, including ESPN and ABC, due to a carriage dispute with Disney. The SEC offered advice for fans looking to watch their team in action should coverage continue to be affected come Saturday. Georgia’s game against Tennessee Tech would be included in the affected ones for DirecTV customers trying to watch on SEC Network+. Those who subscribe to ESPN+ in addition to DirecTV would be fine.
