Rusty Mansell's Game of the Week: Thomas County Central at Houston County
This week’s Game of the Week in Georgia High School Football is a big one as both teams look to postseason play. Thomasville (Ga.) Thomas County Central comes in at 7-1 overall and Warner Robins (Ga.) Houston County comes in at 6-2.
It’s a big game with Thomas County Central at Houston County because of the playoff implications. Most likely, the loser will have to go to north Georgia in the first round of playoffs. It will not have home-field advantage throughout.
That region is always tough and everybody is still trying to make sure they make the playoffs from Region One in 5A Classification.
This is a big-time game. Loser is probably gonna be on the road the entire playoff brackets. Buckle up.
