Georgia is making their run toward the top of the 2025 Industry Football Team Recruiting Rankings, and it’s been pretty crazy as of late. Tuesday when the Bulldogs landed the commitment of Geneva (Ill.) four-star wide receiver Talyn Taylor, the rankings ride saw another twist and turn.

After moving up to No. 6 last week with the commitment of five-star linebacker Zayden Walker, Georgia was passed by Alabama with the Crimson Tide landing four-star cornerback Chuck McDonald at the start of the weekend. Defensive lineman Christian Garrett (UGA), offensive lineman Michael Carroll (Bama) and athlete Todd Robinson (UGA) shook things up too. With Taylor’s addition to the class, Georgia surges up four spots, ahead of Alabama and others and into the top five at No. 3 in the nation.

The Bulldogs now have 13 commits on board in the 2025 class. Zayden Walker (On3 Industry No. 24 overall, No. 1 LB), Darren Ikinnagbon (On3 Industry No. 72 overall, No. 10 EDGE), Christian Garrett (On3 Industry, No. 128 overall, No. 10 DL), Jadon Perlotte (On3 Industry No. 133 overall, No. 14 LB), Todd Robinson (On3 Industry No. 417 overall, No. 17 ATH) and Stephon Shivers (On3 Industry No. 507 overall, No. 43 DL) form Georgia’s group on defense while Elyiss Williams (On3 Industry No. 23, No. 1 TE), Ethan Barbour (On3 Industry No. 187 overall, No. 11 TE), Ryan Montgomery (On3 Industry No. 188 overall, No. 13 QB), Mason Short (On3 Industry No. 222 overall, No. 14 IOL), Thomas Blackshear (On3 Industry No. 297 overall, No. 12 ATH) and Bo Walker (On3 Industry No. 308 overall, No. 25 RB) make up the rest of the group on offense.
