Georgia’s recruiting class is currently ranked No. 6 nationally but according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, it is poised to climb. According to the RPM, the Bulldogs are trending heavily for in-state five-star Kaiden Prothro.

The Bulldogs now hold a commanding 91.1 percent of the RPM. Auburn is in second place with 2.6 percent. Florida follows with 1.5 percent and Alabama holds one percent.

The 6-foot-6 220-pound tight end out of Bowden received two picks to Georgia on Monday. Those two picks came from national recruiting insiders. On3 National Director of Recruiting, Chad Simmons, submitted a pick as did On3 Vice President of Recruiting and Transfer Portal, Steve Wiltfong. Both are in Indianapolis for the 2025 Rivals Five-Star Challenge and spoke with Prothro.

According to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that includes all four websites that publish recruiting rankings, Prothro is that nation’s No. 29 overall prospect. He’s also the No. 2 tight end and the No. 4 player in Georgia.

Prothro is done with official visits after taking five. Georgia got the first of those visits and, according to the five-star prospect, the Bulldogs hold the lead in his recruitment. He was in Athens on May 30.

He visited Alabama a week later on June 6 before taking a mid-week trip to Auburn on June 10. Prothro was in Gainesville on June 13 and he wrapped up his official visit schedule on June 20 at Texas.

Prothro told Simmons on Monday that three of those schools standout. As previously stated, Georgia leads but Florida and Texas remain in the mix for his services. He’ll choose from those three schools on July 12.

Georgia currently has 13 prospects committed with a four-star rating. It also has one five-star prospect committed in Nashville Christian (Nashville, Tenn.) quarterback Jared Curtis.

The Bulldogs have one tight end committed in the 2026 class alread. Lincoln Keyes (Saline; Saline, Mich.) gave his pledge to the Georgia staff back in November. He’s a four-star prospect who is ranked as the No. 13 tight end in the nation and the No. 4 player in Michigan.
