Georgia is back on the board on Monday, and this time, it’s an addition in the trenches, with four-star interior offensive lineman Dontrell Glover announcing his commitment to the Bulldogs.

A 6-foot-3, 310 pound rising senior by way of Fairburn, Georgia’s Langston Hughes High School, Glover becomes Georgia’s fourteenth commitment of the Class of 2025 and second offensive line pledge, joining fellow interior offensive lineman Mason Short. Glover is also Georgia’s fifth commitment of the month of June.

Glover initially committed to Alabama in April of 2023 but reopened his process in January of this year. Since that time, schools such as Florida State, Tennessee, and South Carolina are among those who’ve made a run at the Peach State lineman, but the Dawgs were consistently in the hunt, as well.

And Georgia has reinforcements working on its behalf.

“The official visit to Georgia went good, there were good vibes, and it was good spending time with my former teammate and recruits from around the country,” Glover told DawgsHQ’s Jeremy Johnson last week. “Being around the university was good…Ever since I decommitted, there’s been an extreme push for me (at Georgia). He’s (former teammate and current Bulldogs offensive lineman Bo Hughley) been a big factor in my recruitment.”

Watching Hughley’s recruitment by the Bulldogs and seeing Georgia shift its attention toward him was a humbling experience for Glover.

“It meant a lot,” Glover said. “When Bo Hughley was here they’d always come see him. For them to come to see me this time was a blessing.”

Now, they’ll have the opportunity to play together at the next level under Stacy Searels.

Dontrell Glover ranks as the nation’s No. 304 overall prospect in the Class of 2025 per the On3 Industry Ranking. He is also the nation’s No. 22 interior offensive lineman and No. 35 overall prospect in Georgia for the cycle per the same metric.
