Georgia lands intriguing three-star DL Jayden-Jamal Hanne
Jayden-Jamal Hanne burst onto the recruiting scene over the course of the spring and summer of this year, landing offers from seemingly each collegiate camp stop he made along the way. While each tender was compelling, it is the Georgia Bulldogs who’ve won out for his services.
The three-star defensive lineman from Rancho Santa Margarita’s Santa Margarita Catholic-by-way-of Germany announced his pledge to the Dawgs today, becoming the third defensive line pledge of the Class of 2025. He joins four-star Christian Garrett and three-star Stephon Shivers.
Hanne received his offer from the Bulldogs in late May and returned for the summer’s end cookout with the Bulldogs.
“It’s Georgia,” Hanne told DawgsHQ after receiving the offer in May. “Everyone around the world knows Georgia. It’s like a top program for a long period of time. They create great players. Their standard is all about the work. I love the work.”
The 6-foot-5, 270 pound ranks as the nation’s No. 679 overall prospect in the On3 Industry Ranking, the No. 61 overall defensive lineman in the Class of 2025, and the No. 56 prospect in California for the cycle per the same metric.

“I feel like Georgia is a place that develops guys that want to work,” Hanne said in June. “If you’re committed and really want to work hard, they’re there to help you through it. Coach put an emphasis on teaching stuff. When you mess up, he tells you what to change. When you change it, they tell you good job.”
Hanne held offers from the likes of Alabama, Texas, Texas A&M, Florida, and Nebraska among others, but Tray Scott and company proved too much to hold off.
Jayden-Jamal Hanne is the twenty-second commitment of the Class of 2025 for the Georgia Bulldogs. The class currently ranks as the fourth in the country for the cycle.
