The Great Wall of Georgia added another massive brick to the build this evening, with the Bulldogs picking up the commitment of four-star offensive lineman Juan Gaston.

Ranked as the nation’s No. 187 overall prospect in the On3 Industry Ranking, Gaston becomes the twenty-second commitment of the Class of 2025 for Georgia. He ranks as the No. 14 offensive lineman in the cycle and No. 24 prospect in the Peach State per the same metric. Gaston is now the second highest ranked offensive lineman on the Bulldogs’ commit list.

He is the fourth offensive line pledge of the cycle, joining Cortez Smith, Mason Short, and Dontrell Glover.

A key piece of the recruitment? Gaston led the summer off with an official visit to Athens, and the Dawgs were able to assert themselves further in the race as a result.

“The Georgia staff really showed out for my official visit, the bar was set high coming out the gate for my first official visit,” Gaston told DawgsHQ following the trip. “The staff really provided exceptional service for the entire weekend…There was a lot of information to soak in during the visit and I will have to weigh this last weekend into my decision from all angles.”
But Georgia was certainly no Johnny Come Lately in the race for his services, battling throughout with the likes of Tennessee, Oregon, and South Carolina.

The relationships with and openness of the staff, though, proved be a defining aspect for the big man.

“It was awesome being able to get so much face time with both Coach Searles and Coach Smart,” Gaston said after his official visit. “It was definitely noted the efforts put fourth this weekend hanging with them. Also, my parents were able to engage with them all weekend asking the tough questions about my future at Georgia.”

Juan Gaston enters his senior season at 6-foot-7, 360 pound per the On3 database.

Georgia currently sits as the nation’s No. 4 ranked class in 2025.
