It looks like Georgia will sign just one running back on National Signing Day. Ousmane Kromah (Lee County; Leesburg, Ga.) announced on Wednesday that he has flipped his commitment from the Bulldogs to Florida State on National Signing Day. The loss of Kromah bumps Georgia down to just 27 commitments in the 2025 class.

The four-star playmaker committed to Georgia two months ago with Auburn serving as the primary competition at the time. The Tigers also pushed late in this cycle but it came down to the Bulldogs and Seminoles in the end. Kromah took two unofficial visits to Tallahassee during the season. He took just as many to Athens, but a late push from FSU won out.

At 6-foot-1 215 pounds, Kromah is ranked as the nation’s No. 92 overall prospect in the 2025 class according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that includes all four websites that publish recruiting rankings. He’s the No. 4 running back in America and the No. 13 player in the Peach State.

The Bulldogs have another ball carrier signed in the class. Long-time pledge Bo Walker, who played his junior season at Cedar Grove (Ellenwood, Ga.) before transferring to Rabun Gap-Nacoochee (Rabun Gap, Ga.) for his senior season, was announced as part of the class earlier in the day. Walker is a three-star prospect.

UGA doesn’t have a running back on the roster who is out of eligibility at the end of the season. Trevor Etienne will have an NFL Draft decision to make once the Bulldogs are done playing, but the Bulldogs signed three, including Nate Frazier, in the 2024 class and they have Roderick Robinson from the 2023 class and Branson Robinson from the 2022 class.

Georgia’s class was ranked No. 2 coming into National Signing Day but it has slipped to No. 4 with both Texas and Oregon leaping ahead. The loss of Kromah could cause it to drop even more once it is tallied, but the Bulldogs are favored to rise on Friday when five-star defensive lineman Justus Terry (Manchester; Manchester, Ga.) makes his decision.
