Georgia loses safety KJ Bolden to ejection against Florida

Georgia will have to rally to defeat Florida without one of their key pieces in the secondary, KJ Bolden on Saturday.
Bolden was ejected from Georgia’s game against Florida with about two minutes remaining in the second quarter after he was called for targeting on Florida receiver Dallas Wilson.
Wilson caught a slant, Bolden broke on the ball and came in with a hit that stopped Wilson but he was able to spin for first down.
The play was reviewed and Bolden was ejected. Georgia is already without Kyon Jones, who is out with a foot injury.
Bolden has been a starter for every game he’s played in at Georgia over the last two seasons. He has 33 tackles and one interception on the season.

Bolden had four tackles so far on Saturday. Georgia and Florida are tied 10-10 at halftime.
“Next man up,” Kirby Smart told ESPN, going into the locker room before halftime.
Another key defender out for the day
Georgia also lost defensive lineman Jordan Hall early in the game. Hall was fallen on by teammate Raylen Wilson in the first half. He is out for today and was taken to the locker room for X-rays.
Hall has been in and out with injuries over his first three years in Athens. He was feeling good going into the game in his hometown of Jacksonville.
“I mean, I’m fine. I mean, like I said, I’m able to play and run,” Hall told reporters on Tuesday. “So all my worries really out the window, I’m able to play. I still have lingering stuff from the surgeries. Patellar tendonitis, that’s just something I’ve been dealing with just because it’s post-surgical things, but outside of that, man, I’m fine, I’m ready to go. It’s just being here; it’s never easy. You’re never going to be 100 percent. It’s hard and it’s physical here. But it’s just, I’m feeling good, man, ready to play, that’s all.”
