Mike White’s team even drew first blood in the second half, getting a pair of free throws from Cain to build the advantage back out to 11 points. It was all Aggies from there on out. They would win the next 15 minutes by a mind-blowing 32 points, notching a 64-43 lead with just over 4 minutes left to play in the game.
A slew of costly turnovers played a large role in the Bulldog collapse. Georgia had a 14-minute stretch where it turned the ball over six times. Those turnovers led to 8 Aggie points and tons of momentum. Buzz Williams team, after turning it over 10 times in the first half, only turned it over twice in the second and just once in the final 19 minutes of the game.
Georgia returns home for its next one. It will take on Missouri at Stegeman Coliseum. Tip is schedule for 3:30 p.m. ET on The SEC Network. The Tigers are ranked No. 21 in the country.
