Georgia won the National Championship, and that means its players get rings.

The Dawgs will reportedly receive their rings on Saturday in a ceremony at Georgia’s spring G-Day scrimmage.

Nakobe Dean shared his excitement on the Athens Banner-Herald’s ‘Bulldogs Extra’ podcast.

“I feel like this weekend I’m finally going to be able to maybe sit down and just think about what we were able to accomplish,” Dean said.

“Because I still don’t think that it’s fully hit me yet.”

Lewis Cine also told reporters at the NFL Combine how much that ring means to him.

He’s looking forward to a big piece of metal to commemorate Georgia’s long-awaited National Championship.

How the Braves’ World Series Ring team might design Georgia’s National Championship ring

If you haven’t seen the Braves’ World Series ring, feast your eyes on this piece of jeweled, embossed significance.

Every gemstone and metal selection from the team at Jostens means something. Take a look at the graphic below:

So here’s how Georgia’s National Championship ring might look, in my humble opinion (Note: I’m not a jeweler) if it were made with the same commitment to symbolism as the Braves’ World Series ring.

Stone Count, Metal details:

– 12 emerald-cut diamonds for each of Georgia’s undefeated regular season victories

– 130 diamonds on the ring face for 130 years of Georgia football

– 3 rubies on the side for each of Georgia’s regular season shutouts

– 3 black diamonds and one ruby within the CFP logo – one stone for each lace – to commemorate Georgia’s three shutouts during the regular season, and its National Championship victory

– 19.80K gold to commemorate Georgia’s last National Champions

Design elements:

– Angled face to resemble the roof of Lucas Oil Stadium, where Georgia won the National Championship. A spike collar with 12 diamond spikes surrounds the face

– Georgia’s ‘G’ Logo in white gold on the face, surrounded by diamonds

– Face opens to reveal a miniature football field. A black diamond marks each spot of the field where Georgia’s touchdown drives began.

– “‘Success usually comes to those who are too busy to be looking for it.’ – Henry David Thoreau” on the inside ‘lid,’ one of the team’s motivational quotes from the season

– An embossed orange on the inside top of the ring, with the final score of Georgia’s Orange Bowl win over Michigan

– ‘ELITE’ inscribed on the bottom interior of the ring, one of the team’s rallying cries for the season

– Each players’s number set in diamonds, and surrounded by a hedge design on the side of the ring

– CFP logo on the other side of the ring, with the 33-18 final score over Alabama in the National Championship

– ‘GO DAWGS’ in diamonds on the exterior bottom of the ring, which is made of silver in honor of the program’s ‘Silver Britches’
