Georgia NFL Combine crew has a chance to make one more set of Indianapolis memories
Georgia’s NFL Combine crew is back for more in Indianapolis.
These 14 Georgia football players already won a title at Lucas Oil Stadium. Now they have a shot to win some respect, and move up the draft boards.
I went out with a group of friends last night to celebrate the National Championship, a little more than a month later.
We had eaten at St. Elmo Steakhouse in Indy the night before the game, and wanted to commemorate it.
No, we weren’t at this guy’s table. And the cops didn’t come *because* he called the Dawgs. He was just in rough shape all night, apparently.
But don’t let those facts get in the way of a legendary story. I don’t.
Our celebration dinner made me think about Georgia’s NFL Combine reunion
We reminisced about how special Indianapolis will always be to us. The game, the shrimp cocktails, and that bitter cold town will always provide warm memories for our crew.
These 14 Georgia football players are set to make more memories in their own Indy reunion. They’re all in much better shape than the guys at our dinner table last night.

It’s a different setting now. The ‘underwear Olympics’ won’t have fans, but if it did, Georgia fans would travel to Indy to take that over, too.
Of all the Dawgs, I think James Cook has the highest ceiling to shatter based on where mock drafts have him projected. He sat out the Senior Bowl, and the “experts” will find a reason to hold that against him.
They shouldn’t. But he’ll make up for it in Indy. He definitely knows how to maneuver through an obstacle course at Lucas Oil Stadium.
