Georgia’s recruiting class just got a big lift. Adding five-star linebacker Zayden Walker, ranked No. 1 at his position and No. 24 overall according to the On3 Industry Ranking, the Bulldogs’ Class of 2025 moved up two spots from No. 8 to No. 6.

Walker gives Georgia a second five-star commit per the On3 Industry Rankings, joining tight end Elyiss Williams. It comes a year after UGA landed five Industry five-stars in its top-ranked Class of 2024 – all of them on the defensive side of the ball.

Georgia’s class passed Oregon and Alabama in its rise to No. 6, now sitting with 10 commits in total. Darren Ikinnagbon (On3 Industry No. 72 overall, No. 10 EDGE), Jadon Perlotte (On3 Industry No. 133 overall, No. 14 LB) and Stephon Shivers (On3 Industry No. 507 overall, No. 43 DL) make up the rest of the class on defense while Williams (On3 Industry No. 23, No. 1 TE), Ethan Barbour (On3 Industry No. 187 overall, No. 11 TE), Ryan Montgomery (On3 Industry No. 188 overall, No. 13 QB), Mason Short (On3 Industry No. 222 overall, No. 14 IOL), Thomas Blackshear (On3 Industry No. 297 overall, No. 12 ATH) and Bo Walker (On3 Industry No. 308 overall, No. 25 RB) are committed on offense.

The Bulldogs of course are working to add even more talent to their class, hosting a slew of official visitors throughout the month of June with several important decisions upcoming in July and August. A look at the upcoming weekend of official visitors can be found here.
