What a weekend it was in Athens, Georgia. Kirby Smart and company hosted a slew of the top recruits in the country for the Class of 2024 (plus some in 2025 too!). With recently committed quarterback Dylan Raiola leading the way, the Bulldogs certainly have momentum on the recruiting trail as the month of May comes to a close and June begins before too long.

The team of Raiola, fellow Georgia commit wide receiver Ny Carr and the nation’s No. 1 wide receiver Jeremiah Smith, an Ohio State commit in town on and official visit, won the scavenger hunt alongside Mike Bobo and Bryan McClendon. They were able to knock off two-time defending champion Todd Hartley’s team in what has become annually one of the biggest recruiting events of the year for the Bulldogs. Elsewhere, 2024 commit Sacovie White was putting work in with the No. 1 wide receiver for 2025, Alabama commit Ryan Williams.

Speaking of Todd Hartley, he had a group of top recruits alongside him for the weekend festivities. Four-star tight end Jaden Reddell, who Georgia holds a 76.5% chance to land according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM), and official visitor Colton Heinrich headlined Hartley’s squad on Saturday.

Five-star plus+ safety KJ Bolden, the No. 5 overall player in the country and top player in the Peach State, was also on campus. Making his rounds alongside Fran Brown and Georgia cornerback commit Demello Jones.

While Raiola wasn’t with them on the trip around campus, he made sure to do his best to give Bolden his best recruiting pitch before they went their separate ways. It seems to have worked with Georgia making a massive jump according to the RPM.

Raiola wasn’t the only Georgia commit doing his best to recruit Buford Wolves others to join him. Running back commit Dwight Phillips spent his day alongside 2025 Buford back Justin Baker.

Elsewhere in the Class of 2025, and also out of Buford, linebacker commit Jadon Perlotte led his group around campus. 2024 EDGE Dominic Nichols was with him.

Back to the Class of 2024 with a pair of the country’s top linebackers. Glenn Schumann has built a reputation for landing top talent at his position. He spent the day alongside two of On3’s top five linebackers for the Class of 2024, Justin Williams and Joseph Phillips.

What would a weekend in Athens be without some of the big boys? After all, that’s where the heart of soul of Georgia’s championship teams have been built.

Texas offensive lineman Casey Poe was in town for an official visit. He’s On3’s No. 1 interior offensive lineman for the Class of 2024. Alongside him was another official visitor Marcus Harrison from New York. Meanwhile, among the defensive linemen visiting were fellow Texan Joseph Jonah-Ajonye, ranked No. 38 overall and No. 6 among defensive linemen according to On3, and Georgia’s own Quintavious Johnson.
