Georgia releases depth chart for matchup with UMass
ATHENS, Ga. — Georgia is getting a chance to play at home for the second week in a row and it will honor its seniors on Saturday. The Bulldogs host UMass as 42.5-point favorites with a chance to move to 9-2 on the year. DawgsHQ has obtained the depth chart and we’re providing it for you below.
Quarterback
- Carson Beck
- Gunner Stockton
- Ryan Puglisi OR Jaden Rashada
Running Back
- Trevor Etienne
- Branson Robinson
- Roderick Robinson
- Nate Frazier
- Cash Jones
- Chauncey Bowens
- Dwight Phillips Jr.
*** Etienne and both Robinsons are both out for this game. Georgia is down to the last four guys on that list and Jones was dinged up last week. He still played against Tennessee but from a ball-carrying standpoint, Frazier and Bowens carried the load.
Wide Receiver (X)
- Dillon Bell OR Colbie Young
- Cole Speer
- Jeremy Bell
*** Bell will not play today after suffering an ankle injury last week against Tennessee. Young is still suspended indefinitely and it is unclear if or when Georgia might be able to get him back. London Humphreys will likely get the start at this spot.
Wide Receiver (Slot)
- Dominic Lovett
- Anthony Evans
- Sacovie White
- Walter Blanchard
Wide Receiver (Z)
- Arian Smith
- London Humphreys
- Michael Jackson III
- Nitro Tuggle
Tight End
- Oscar Delp OR Ben Yurosek OR Lawson Luckie
- Jaden Reddell
- Colton Heinrich
Left Tackle
- Earnest Greene
- Bo Hughley
- Jahzare Jackson
*** Greene will likely miss this game with multiple injuries. He missed the win over Tennessee last week as Monroe Freeling started at left tackle. Georgia used the same five offensive linemen the entire way against Tennessee.
Left Guard
- Dylan Fairchild
- Micah Morris
- Jamal Meriweather
- Marques Easley
Center
- Jared Wilson
- Drew Bobo
- Malachi Toliver
Right Guard
- Tate Ratledge
- Daniel Calhoun
- Michael Uini
*** Ratledge started last week and played the entire game, every offensive snap. Georgia is hoping to get Micah Morris back soon and he started five games at this spot while Ratledge was out.
Right Tackle
- Xavier Truss
- Monroe Freeling
- Nyier Daniels
Defensive End
- Mykel Williams OR Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins
- Joseph Jonah-Ajonye
- Justin Greene
*** Jonah-Ajonye is out for the season after having surgery a couple of weeks ago. Georgia has leaned heavily on Williams and Ingram-Dawkins of late
