The race to the finish line for 2025 recruiting is on, and Georgia is making a strong charge towards the top of the class rankings. Adding the commitment of four-star EDGE Chase Linton on Wednesday, the Bulldogs jumped from No. 3 to No. 1 in the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings, passing Ohio State and Alabama in the process.

Georgia’s class, now 26 commits strong, features four On3 Industry five-star prospects including defensive lineman Elijah Griffin (No. 5 overall prospect), EDGE Isaiah Gibson (No. 8 overall prospect) and linebacker Zayden Walker (No. 29 overall prospect) who all rank as the top player at their respective positions. Wide receiver Talyn Taylor (No. 28 overall prospect) is also a five-star while tight end Elyiss Williams, the No. 36 overall prospect, is the top-rated player in the country for his position.

Linton’s commitment is the latest in the month of November for the Bulldogs who have also added top-100 prospect and four-star wide receiver CJ Wiley as well as four-star safety Rasean Dinkins. In the Class of 2026, where Georgia already is off to a strong start with three commits, wide receiver Vance Spafford and tight end Lincoln Keyes have come on board since the turn of the calendar.

Georgia hopes it isn’t finished however. Two weeks remain until National Signing Day, and the Bulldogs are still in pursuit of others with five-star defensive lineman Justus Terry as the biggest fish still out there. Kirby Smart has been known to flip prospects – doing so already with Kelly (USC), Kruah (North Carolina) and Dinkins (Georgia Tech) in this class and several others in previous ones – and names like cornerbacks DJ Pickett (LSU) and Dijon Lee (Alabama), defensive linemen Kevin Wynn (Florida State), Christian Garrett (Georgia Tech) and Jeramiah McCloud (Florida), linebackers Christian Gass (Tennessee) and Tavion Wallace (Arkansas) and quarterbacks Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele (Cal), KaMario Taylor (Mississippi State) and Bear Bachermeier (Stanford) are worth watching.
