A new name in 2026 + Junior Day in the books

The Dawgs added the commitment of top 100 prospect Zech Fort just last week, but what did Georgia get in the package? We’re taking a look at what appears to be a strong early pickup for the Bulldogs in the Class of 2026, with some shades of Javon Bullard to Fort’s game. Then, it’s time to dive in on some of the names from another big junior day in the Classic City. Who made the trip? Who are some of the names you need to know moving forward? What’s the latest from the trail? We touched on it all.

Georgia Senior Bowl Standouts

The annual Senior Bowl in Mobile has become an event that is more than kind to the Georgia Bulldogs. Director Jim Nagy was quick to praise the Dawgs, and with so many showing out, it’s easy to see why. Trevor Etienne, unsurprisingly, put together some very solid tape for the week and walked away with top running back honors. Arian Smith likely boosted his stock in a major way, flashing plenty of his characteristic speed and throwing in a solid showing of tough catches along the way. Smael Mondon put folks on notice in a major way, and there’s buzz that if his medicals are clear, he could be in for a major rise. And how about that Dan Jackson? The storybook continues to be written for the former walk-on, as he was named safety of the week.

The latest on Colbie Young

There was resolution to the legal troubles of Georgia wide receiver Colbie Young this past week, but what does that mean for both he and the team moving forward? Rusty Mansell broke down the latest on where things stand now and what the implications could be moving forward from the team side of things. Safe to say, his skills will be welcomed back with open arms and add a much needed dynamic to the fold for the Bulldogs.
