Georgia Show: SEC schedules, recruiting updates and more!
The Georgia Show went live for you Wednesday night at our normal time. Lucky for everybody involved, SEC schedules for the 2024 season came out just before we went on air, and there was PLENTY to discuss.
The Dawgs got ‘Bama. They got Texas too. Both of those game will come on the road meaning Georgia fans will probably be putting some mileage on their cars (or earning a fair share of frequent flyer points) that season.
Yes, Georgia fans might be upset that the home schedule doesn’t look as great, and yes, there’s a legitimate gripe to be had over the fact that the road schedule is so tough. However, with the 2023 slate that the Bulldogs will be up against this season, the excitement of these new and improved matchups should ease some of the pain.
For an in-depth analysis on the 2024 schedule, be sure to check out Jake Rowe’s takeaways story here.

That’s not all though. Georgia got a commitment since the last time we were on air. Four-star defensive lineman Jordan Thomas announced his commitment to the G on Tuesday, and it’s a BIG get for the Dawgs. Coming in at 6-foot-5, 325 pounds, there’s a lot to work with there for Tray Scott.
Special shoutout on this commitment should go to Fran Brown who’s made a name for himself in the Northeast. Georgia certainly seems to have landed themselves an ace recruiter in Brown, and somebody who might have more tricks up his sleeve this recruiting cycle.
