Yeah yeah, the Dawgs beat Vandy but what about Georgia vs Tennessee? I know, it’s still two game weeks away.

But the people are curious about how this number-one-ranked Georgia football team will measure up when Tennessee comes to town.

That’s what we discussed – early and often – on this early-week edition of The Georgia Show.

We also had a quick cut-in to talk about Georgia’s newest commitment: 2024 3-star (for now) quarterback, Ryan Puglisi courtesy of DawgsHQ recruiting insider, Jake Reuse.

The Georgia Show is available on YouTube and all audio podcast platforms.

Please hit subscribe and leave us a kind word in the comments, wherever you follow the show. It helps this young company out a ton as we grow.

We couldn’t do it without you, so thanks so much to our viewers, Apple and Spotify listeners.

Other than talking about those trending topics, of course we had to discuss Darnell Washington

The Dawgs’ tight end had another career day against Vanderbilt (I know, get your jokes in), and the Dawgs tight ends in general stand to give Georgia’s offense an explosive element no matter who the opponent may be.

I also wanted to get Jake Rowe‘s and Palmer Thombs‘s takes on where Stetson Bennett stands heading into the bye week, and how Kirby Smart traditionally handles bye week preparation.

Is Georgia at risk of looking past Florida in Jacksonville ahead of that huge Tennessee showdown?

Dawg Stocks: questionable rankings, Todd Monken, and Nick Saban

Palmer Thombs doesn’t understand what’s up with some of these in-season rankings.

As a rule, I would like to stop looking until the College Football Playoff standings start trotting their rankings out there. But I work in an industry that requires I know a thing or two about them.

Regardless of anyone’s qualms today, we all know that November 5th in Athens, Ga., could have a major role in deciding who deserves that numero uno – until the postseason begins, anyway.

Rowe says Todd Monken’s back in the black.

And I had some words about why Nick Saban’s stock is down.
