Georgia takes commanding RPM lead for elite DL James Johnson two days ahead of decision

One of the top remaining targets on Georgia’s board seems to be trending its way. With three Recruiting Prediction Machine picks in the last 24 hours, the Bulldogs are the heavy favorites to land Northwester (Cape Coral, Fla.) defensive lineman James Johnson.
UGA possesses 88.9 percent of the predictive feature. Johnson will decide between Georgia, Florida, Miami, and Texas on June 28.
Chad Simmons, On3’s National Director of Recruiting, submitted a pick for the Bulldogs on Wednesday around noon. Steve Wiltfong, On3’s Vice President of Recruiting and Transfer Portal came in less than two hours later and put in another pick for Georgia. Both set their confidence level at 60 out of 100.
Warchant recruiting analyst Michael Langston, who covers the Sunshine State and Florida State, also put in a pick on Wednesday afternoon. He set his confidence level in Georgia at 55 out of 100.
Florida is in second place with 3.8 percent. Miami is in third at 1.9 percent, and Florida State comes in at 1.4 percent. Texas is also considered a major player in Johnson’s recruitment.
