Georgia Travel Roster: Dawgs down a DL for trip to Tennessee
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — DawgsHQ has boots on the ground at Neyland Stadium as Georgia takes on Tennessee, and it looks like the Bulldogs may be without one of their top defensive linemen. Senior defensive lineman Warren Brinson was limited last week against Ole Miss with what Kirby Smart called a calf strain. On Tuesday, he updated his practice participation by saying he wasn’t doing a ton. Now, as the team takes the field for warmups, it’s clear he won’t be available at all today.
Brinson has played in all 10 games so far this season for Georgia, totaling 10 tackles including one for loss. That came against UAB in his best statistical showing in 2023 as he posted three tackles.
Brinson’s absence means that the Bulldogs will likely rely heavier on a pair of veterans on the interior – Zion Logue and Nazir Stackhouse – while asking true freshman Jordan Hall and redshirt freshman Christen Miller to take on a bigger role.
For a full look at who made the trip to Knoxville with the Bulldogs, be sure to check out the complete travel roster below:
Offense (35)
Quarterback (3): Carson Beck, Brock Vandagriff, and Gunner Stockton
Running Back (5): Daijun Edwards, Kendall Milton, Andrew Paul, Cash Jones, and Roderick Robinson
Wide Receiver (10): Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint, Rara Thomas, Dominic Lovett, Mekhi Mews, Jackson Meeks, Arian Smith, Dillon Bell, Ladd McConkey, Anthony Evans and DeNylon Morrissette
*** C.J. Smith made the last road trip with the team to Jacksonville for the Florida game but after not being dressed out last Saturday (knee), he is not with the team today. Cole Speer also did not make the trip while Morrissette is a new addition.
Tight End (4): Brock Bowers, Oscar Delp, Lawson Luckie and Pearce Spurlin
Offensive Line (13): Earnest Greene, Dylan Fairchild, Sedrick Van Pran, Tate Ratledge, Xavier Truss, Amarius Mims, Austin Blaske, Monroe Freeling, Micah Morris, Jared Wilson,, Chad Lindberg, Drew Bobo and Aliou Bah
*** Both Bowers and Mims made their respective returns to the field last Saturday after each underwent tight rope ankle surgery and missed time. Bowers was in the starting lineup and played more snaps than Georgia skill player. Mims was not but played the majority of snaps at right tackle. It would not be a surprise to see him shift back into the starting lineup today. Bah is a new addition to the travel roster.
Defense (33)
Defensive Line (10): Nazir Stackhouse, Zion Logue, Mykel Williams, Tramel Walthour, Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins, Gabe Harris, Jordan Hall, Christen Miller, Jonathan Jefferson and Jamaal Jarrett

*** With Brinson banged up, Jarrett gets a spot on the trip. He maintains Georgia’s number at 10 for defensive linemen and flashed late last week.
Inside Linebacker (6): Smael Mondon, Xavian Sorey, Jalon Walker, CJ Allen, Raylen Wilson, and Terrell Foster
Outside Linebackers (5): Chaz Chambliss, Marvin Jones Jr., C.J. Madden, Damon Wilson, and Samuel M’Pemba
*** It appears that Georgia only has 73 players dressed out during pregame warmups. The 74th spot is expected to have gone to Jamon Dumas-Johnson who was injured (forearm) and did not dress out last Saturday against Ole Miss.
Cornerback (5): Kamari Lassiter, Daylen Everette, Nyland Green, A.J. Harris and Daniel Harris
Safety (5): Malaki Starks, Javon Bullard, David Daniel-Sisavahn, Jacorey Thomas and Dan Jackson

*** Julian Humphrey suffered an injury last Saturday against Ole Miss. Kirby Smart did not provide many details on his injury this week, stating only that it was an upper body injury. Meanwhile, Jackson did not make Georgia’s last two trips. He returns to the travel roster today.
