Another honor has come in for Georgia third baseman Ryland Zaborowski.

Zaborowski is the Dick Howser Trophy National Hitter of the Month per a release from Georgia’s sports and communications department. The award comes from the National Collegiate Baseball Writer’s Association.

Last week, Zaborowski also made the Golden Spikes mid-season watchlist.

This award comes from his work in the month of March. The senior, a transfer from Miami (Ohio), hit 12 home runs, hit .467, scored 22 runs, drove in 33 runs and walked 15 times.

Overall, Zaborowski has a .424 average with 15 home runs with 51 RBIs in 31 games. Zaborowski was one of the hitters to put the ball over the fence on Tuesday in Georgia’s win over Presbyterian.

Georgia will put their 30-5 record to the test this weekend. The Bulldogs will host No. 1 Arkansas on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Georgia is coming off a three-game sweep at the hands of Texas. The Longhorns are the No. 2 team in the D1 Baseball rankings.

Game one kicks off at 6 p.m. at Foley Field. Game two is set for 4 p.m. on Saturday and the series finale will get going at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
