Georgia infielder Ryland Zaborowski continues to take advantage of his decision to transfer to Georgia. Zaborowski was named to the mid-season Golden Spikes Award watchlist on Thursday. He was also named a D1 midseason All-American earlier this week.

Georgia was home to the 2024 Golden Spikes Award-winning, Charlie Condon. Zaborowski hit the ground running in his first at Georgia.

He transferred in the off-season from Miami (Ohio.) Zaborowski was a power hitter for the Red Hurricanes in his three seasons.

In two years at Miami, Zaborowski hit 30 home runs. He hit five in his freshman and sophomore years split between Grand Canyon and Yavapi College.

This season Zaborowski has bought into Georgia’s home run-hitting nature. He has 14 home runs already, which is second on Georgia’s team. Zaborowski is leading the team with a .448 batting average.

Georgia heads to Austin to face No. 5 Texas this weekend. Game one is tonight at 7:30 p.m.
