WATCH: James Cook extend Bills' lead with explosive TD run

Former Georgia running back James Cook is really hitting his stride late in his rookie season. After reaching the end zone just once in his first 13 NFL games, Cook has now scored in each of his past two games.
That includes a 28-yard romp against Chicago on Saturday. With the Buffalo leading 14-10, Cook too a handoff and went off right guard. He cut it back against the grain and found the end zone to extend the advantage.

He has already set a career high for rushing yards in a game with 88 yards on just six carries. His second career touchdown came last week and it was his first of the receiving variety. Cook came into Saturday’s game with 69 carries 363 yards and had caught 18 passes for 165 yards on the year.
Buffalo selected Cook in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft. The Bills used the 63rd pick to get the former Bulldog tailback. The Miami native played a crucial role in Georgia’s National Championship run in 2021. He accounted for 1,012 total yards and 11 touchdowns. He had four catches for 112 yards and a touchdown in the Bulldogs College Football Playoff semifinal game against Michigan. He ten ripped off 77 rushing yards on just six carries against Alabama in the National Championship.
