Jordan Davis, Nakobe Dean honor Devin Willock & Chandler LeCroy
Jordan Davis and Nakobe Dean honored Devin Willock and Chandler LeCroy in pregame warmups of the Eagles’ NFL Divisional matchup with the New York Giants. Once a Dawg, always a Dawg.
Davis and Dean are both rookies with a chance to keep Georgia football’s championship vibes going in the 2022-2023 season.
Even though they’re hundreds of miles away from Athens, Ga., these two former Georgia Bulldogs have their fellow Dawgs on their hearts.
They wore their support for Willock and LeCroy on their chests before Philadelphia’s big game against New York on Saturday:
It’s been a week since Devin Willock and Chandler LeCroy lost their lives in a tragic wreck in Athens
This week’s been a difficult one for Dawg nation.
The tributes continue to pour in for these cherished Georgia Bulldogs. Nakobe Dean and Jordan Davis wore sweatshirt hoodies that honored their lives on a national, NFL Playoff stage.
There’s no doubt both Davis and Dean had their practice clashes with Devin Willock over their last couple of seasons at Georgia.
By all accounts, Georgia practices are tougher than games. The Dawgs don’t win a National Championship last season without spirited competition. Both Dean and Davis had their hand in leading Georgia on the field.
You have to imagine Willock earned their respect on the way to Georgia’s first National Championship run since 1980.

Davis & Dean holding their own as NFL Rookies in the postseason
First-round pick Jordan Davis has 18 total tackles in his rookie campaign, as he managed a couple of injuries throughout the year.
A high ankle sprain put him on IR in week 8, and he also had a concussion on Christmas Eve against the Saints.
Dean, a third-round pick, has 13 total tackles on the season.
Philadelphia won the NFC East in both Georgia football alums’ rookie seasons.
After winning a National Championship at Georgia, there’s no doubt both Nakobe Dean and Jordan Davis would love to honor Willock and LeCroy with more wins in the postseason.
