Just how weird can this Georgia–Florida game get? We discuss that and why Stetson Bennett must step up on The Georgia Show.

It’s the World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party week and we can hardly contain ourselves.

Between the staff at DawgsHQ, we’ve seen some amazing Georgia wins vs Florida.

We’ve also seen some head-scratching losses.

On this week’s mid-week edition of The Georgia Show, we discuss that massive point spread over Florida.

Brad Nessler also stops by to tell us what he thinks about Georgia’s tight ends, and Florida’s shot to make an impact in the game.

Gators Online’s Nick de la Torre also weighs in with a Gators perspective. They still haven’t forgotten about Will Muschamp down there.

The show is available everywhere you find your shows.

Choppin’ wood about Georgia – Florida’s quarterback battle

As we do each Wednesday night, the crew took time to ‘chop some wood’ about the topics we are most passionate about this week.

Palmer Thombs is all in on the Dawgs’ hypothetical basketball fantasy draft. Trust me, it will make sense when you hear it.

Jake Rowe opines about the loss of Dan Jackson, and how it may impact the Dawgs’ more than Dirty Dan’s critics think.

And I hammer home just how critical this game is for Stetson Bennett. He hasn’t had a particularly good run in this series.

The Gators knocked him out with an injury in 2020. The Mailman hit a statistical snag last season, too. But Georgia’s defense was so effective against Florida quarterback Anthony Richardson that it didn’t matter.

Special guests: Brad Nessler and Nick de la Torre

If all of that doesn’t get you excited to fire the episode up right now, maybe our guests will.

SEC on CBS commentator Brad Nessler pops in for a moment (part of a longer conversation I had with him) to share what he’s most excited about in this year’s edition of Georgia – Florida.

The Dawgs’ tight ends are fun for him to watch, and it doesn’t sound like he’s giving the Gators much of a chance to slow them down.

But there’s always a chance.

Gators Online‘s Nick de la Torre also spoke with Palmer Thombs about that massive 22.5-point spread.

Can the Dawgs actually cover it?

We discussed that as well, while an even more entertaining #housedivided dispute broke out in our comment section.

The Georgia Show delivers every week, especially on Florida week.

We hope you’ll join us for this one.
