A senior Georgia wideout is turning down one more year of eligibility to take a shot at the NFL. Marcus Rosmey-Jacksaint announced on Monday that he is entering the 2024 NFL Draft after four years in Athens.
“First, I give thanks to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for His grade, mercy, protection, and continuous blessings. With him my life is complete.
“My family supports, guides, and loves me unconditionally and for that, I am thankful. You were there during the most difficult momnts in my lif and I am eternally gratified. You made man sacrifices to allow me to do what I tremendously love, which is to play the game of football. I could not have made this journey without you – I am grateful! My love has no limit for you.
“Coach Smart and the coaching staff, thank you for the many lessons and making my time at Georgia remarkable and special. You poured into my life and helped me become a better athlete and even better man.
“To my brothers, we have battled together and have been victorious. My experience with you are unforgettable. We are fortunate to have played at the best university and for the greatest fans in the world – Go Dawgs!

“With that being said, I am officially declaring for the 2024 NFL Draft. Thank you University of Georgia for an amazing experience!”
Rosemy-Jacksaint signed with Georgia in the 2020 class and is coming off his best year as a Bulldog. He caught 34 passes for 535 yards and four touchdowns, all career highs. He caught 29 passes for 337 yards and two scores in 2022. Rosemy-Jacksaint also battled back from a gruesome injury suffered during his freshman season. He sustained a dislocated ankle against Florida and didn’t really get back to 100 percent until the 2022 season.
More on Georgia and the NFL Draft…
Georgia has led the country in NFL Draft selections over the last three seasons with 34 in total. The Bulldogs also rank first over the last five with 48, boosted in large part due to the modern-era NFL Draft record 15 players that were picked in 2022 off of Georgia’s national championship-winning squad. Last year, UGA tied for the nation-high with 10 players picked.
In total, the Kirby Smart era at Georgia has seen 55 selections. You have to go all the way back to 1992 to find the last time at least one Bulldog was not taken in an NFL Draft. Georgia has had a player picked in the first round every year since 2018. That list includes Roquan Smith, Isaiah Wynn, Sony Michel, Deandre Baker, Andrew Thomas, Isaiah Wilson, Eric Stokes, Travon Walker, Jordan Davis, Quay Walker, Devonte Wyatt, Lewis Cine, Jalen Carter, Broderick Jones and Nolan Smith.
