The sweet is among us in the Georgia High School football playoffs.

There are really good football players left striving for a state championship. There are elite players on the high school level that can take over a game and make a major impact for their team to help them advance deeper into the postseason.

Here are the most dangerous players in each classification.

6A

Valdosta quarterback Todd Robinson

The skinny: Robinson is the pure example of a dual threat quarterback. He will play defensive back at Georgia. But on Friday night, he’s dangerous with the football in his hands as a passer and as a runner.

Robinson has been clocked at nearly 23 miles per hour. If he gets rolling he can help Valdosta have a chance to pull an upset at Carrollton on Friday night.

5A

Lee County running back Ousmane Kromah

The Skinny: Kromah is a dominant ball carrier. Today you know he’s getting the football before he gets to the stadium.

The fact of the matter, is can you stop him? Kromah’s legs will determine how successful Lee County’s offense can be. Stop him and you have a shot. If he’s himself then he ruins your night.

4A

Creekside QB Cayden Benson

The Skinny: Benson is a name that has blossomed around the state as another true dual-threat playmaker at the quarterback spot.

He’s grown by leaps and bounds since the early portions of the season. Benson is playing good football as the post-season has arrived. The playoffs could provide opportunities for him to have explosive games on a big stage. Benson is nearing 2,000 yards passing and 1,000 yards rushing.

3A

Stephenson RB Jayden Johnson

The Skinny: Johnson is only a sophomore but he’s emerged as a premier playmaker at Stephenson. He’s got the ability to make plays in run game and in the passing game.
