National Signing Day is here and 2025 prospects across the country will be officially shutting down their recruitments by joining the program of their choice. The early period is now National Signing Day and Georgia is trying to lock up the nation’s No. 1 class. The Bulldogs are currently ranked No. 2, behind only Alabama, with 28 commitments.

They have a chance to add to this class as well. While there could always be surprises, we enter the day thinking that Georgia with a few guys seriously in play, five-star defensive lineman Justus Terry being the biggest of them all, for the Early Signing Period. Terry will announce on the third and final day of the signing period, Friday.

We’ll be all over that news as well as all of the other happenings of the day. In the space below, DawgsHQ will be notifying you of when the players are announced as signees and providing links to the day’s scoop and news. Let’s get to it.

News and notes from National Signing Day…

*** Kromah didn’t sign his paperwork for Florida State right away and spent a few hours communicating with Georgia. Ultimately he decides to ink with the Seminoles, taking him off the Bulldogs’ board all together.

*** Georgia misses out on Greene County defensive lineman Kevin Wynn, who sticks with his commitment to Florida State. He chose the Seminoles over the Bulldogs this summer and despite a late push from the home-state school, will sign with FSU. It comes just moments after UGA also missed on Lee County defensive lineman Jeramiah McCloud, who sticks with his commitment to Florida.

*** Georgia loses a commitment on National Signing Day. Kromah has flipped to Florida State and announced intentions to sign with the Seminoles. He had been committed to Georgia for two months.

*** Georgia has signed its second five-star of the day. Griffin has been announced and according to Mansell, he was the first player to send in his paperwork this morning. He’s the nation’s No. 1 defensive lineman.

*** According to Mansell, Georgia fans should be watching the Lee County situation at 2pm the hardest. That’s because FSU is making a push for Kromah and McCloud is truly torn between the Bulldogs and Gators.

*** DawgsHQ is LIVE on YouTube for a mid-morning update on the signing class with 16 signatures in and 12 to go among the commits. We’ll be back for more later likely, but if you want to tune in (or check it out after the fact), click here.

*** DawgsHQ’s Jeremy Johnson was on the scene for the ceremony of Clarke Central QB Hezekiah Millender. Easy to see how excited he is to sign with the Bulldogs after a flip from Boise State over the weekend.

*** Georgia’s entire offensive line class – five in total – had signatures in before 9:45 a.m. this morning

*** Wallace sticks with his commitment to Arkansas. The Razorbacks fended off Georgia and Florida State for the four-star linebacker.

*** Montgomery took to Twitter/X on Wednesday morning to give an update on his commitment status. He indicates that he’s sticking with Georgia and will sign later in the day.

*** Per Mansell, Florida State seems to be making some noise with a current Georgia commitment. Florida is also battling the Bulldogs hard for a serious target. Here’s the latest (PLUS).

*** Georgia has three signees before 8 a.m. ET. Short was the first guy in followed by Gilbert and Kelly.

*** Mansell reports at 7 a.m. ET on Wednesday morning that Montgomery is expected to stick with his pledge to the Bulldogs despite the advances from the Gators.

*** According to DawgsHQ’s Rusty Mansell, Florida is making a late push to try and flip Montgomery. The Ohio native has been part of Georgia’s class since the summer when he chose Georgia over the Gators, but UF has been successful in flipping numerous prospects over the past two weeks.

*** Georgia enters the day hoping to add a few pieces to the puzzle but it sounds like Wynn won’t be one of them. As of late last night Wynn is expected to stick to his long-time commitment to Florida State rather than flip to the home-state Bulldogs.
