NFL Draft 2022: three Georgia Football hopefuls to attend in Las Vegas
Three Georgia football players will attend the NFL Draft as they turn pro in 2022.
The NFL tweeted its official guest list Thursday evening, and one omission might surprise you.
Defensive linemen Jordan Davis and Devonte Wyatt, along with linebacker Nakobe Dean will attend the NFL Draft festivities in Las Vegas.
However, apparent number-one-overall candidate Travon Walker will learn his NFL Draft fate elsewhere.
Walker told us at Georgia’s Pro Day that he didn’t plan to attend in person.
I heard from someone I trust that Walker may have deliberated recently whether or not he would go to Vegas.
In the end, it appears he will stick with his plans to celebrate with friends and family at their own party.
Here’s the full list:
Travon Walker’s NFL Draft stock rises, Nakobe Dean’s dipping
I wrote several weeks ago that Travon Walker’s stock really could carry him to the NFL Draft’s number one overall pick in 2022.
Then, more evidence presented itself that it could actually happen.
I respect his decision to stick with his gut and his word (not that he owes the media anything) and celebrate with his people. The fact that hypothetical circumstances may have changed surrounding his draft spot clearly didn’t sway him.

Stick with what you know. That says a lot about Walker’s character, in my opinion.
As for Nakobe Dean, his measurements and lack of testing may drop him out of the first round, according to some NFL Draft experts.
If you doubt Dean’s abilities and leadership, just watch this clip:
Jordan Davis shares his NFL Draft attire mentality
Jordan Davis and Vince Dooley appeared at the Atlanta Braves’ ‘Championship Day’ earlier this week.
The Braves aren’t playing like champions right now.
Maybe they could use some help from Jordan Davis on the mound.
Regardless of the Braves’ performance, Jordan Davis shared his championship approach to NFL Draft attire with the Bally Sports broadcast crew.
Sauce Gardner won’t be the only sauce at the NFL Draft.
