ATHENS, Ga. — Georgia is holding practice No. 2 of 15 on Thursday. For the second straight workout they are wearing helmets and no shoulder pads to wrap up the acclimation period. Reporters were allowed to watch about 15 to 20 minutes of practice and below, DawgsHQ is providing you with scenes from the day’s action.

The featured image for this article is Georgia wideout Talyn Taylor. He’s the first five-star prospect to sign with UGA since George Pickens in 2019.

Wiley was another massive pass-catching target for Georgia in the 2025 class. He originally committed to Florida State but later de-committed and then joined the Bulldogs class.

Georgia WR Noah Thomas

The 6-foot-6 Texas native is in Athens thanks in large part to Georgia receivers coach James Coley. Those two got to know each other at Texas A&M and even before that with Coley recruiting him to College Station. Thomas is a senior who put his best season together a year ago. The Aggies worked hard to keep him in the fold.

Miami made a heavy run at the four-star prospect multiple times during the 2025 cycle. It was to no avail as Georgia got him on the commitment list during the summer and he signed on the first day of the early signing period in December. Williams finished his high school career at Armwood in Seffner, Fla.

Georgia RB Bo Walker

Walker finished his career at Rabun Gap-Nacoochee but he spent the first few years at Cedar Grove. He went off in the 2023 state playoffs but didn’t do much as a senior. Georgia remained loyal and he ended up being the only back it was able to sign. Walker has generated some buzz already.

Branch has already started turning heads on the practice field. He might be the smallest player out there but he has the speed and quickness that made him a five-star prospect coming out of high school. Georgia was able to take advantage of a connection with Coley with this recruitment as well.

The Berlin, Germany native arrived in the states less than three years ago and finished his high school career in California. Georgia was one of many schools to offer him over the summer after seeing him work out.

UGA EDGE Darren Ikinnagbon

The New Jersey native saw his recruitment really take off at the end of his junior season. Georgia was one of many schools that got into the mix and the Bulldogs landed him in what was a pretty drama-free recruitment.

Georgia DL Elijah Griffin

The nation’s No. 1 defensive lineman in the 2025 class has caused a stir already. Former Georgia defensive lineman Warren Brinson saw the first practice of the spring and told reporters the next day that Griffin is the next Jalen Carter.

UGA EDGE Kris Jones

Jones isn’t new but he’s playing a different position. DawgsHQ broke the news earlier today that Jones would be moving to EDGE to help Georgia shore up its depth at that spot.
