ATHENS, Ga. — Fall camp is underway, and the DawgsHQ duo of Palmer Thombs and Jake Rowe were able to take in some of practice on Thursday. Rowe has a full insider report for you to keep you up to date on what we saw, but if you’re more the visual learner, we’ve got you covered too with plenty of pictures from the day.

Quarterback is among the most settled positions on the field with Carson Beck (15) back for another season at the helm. However, that didn’t take away from the interest in watching the gunslingers in action on Thursday as Arizona State transfer Jaden Rashada (10) was on the field for the first time. Also pictured below is freshman Ryan Puglisi (12).

Georgia head coach Kirby Smart told reporters about a pair of injuries on the Bulldog defensive line to get camp started. Neither Warren Brinson nor Jordan Hall was a participant in Thursday’s practice. That meant more eyes were on guys like Christen Miller (52), Xzavier McLeod (94) and Nasir Johnson (56) as they need to step up on the interior. Also pictured below is Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins (93).

Georgia running back and receivers always have eyes on them when the media makes it out to practice. The playmakers have a way of exciting, as was the case for Roderick Robinson (0), Nate Frazier (3), Branson Robinson (22), Dillon Bell (86), Arian Smith (11) and Jeremy Bell (81), among others.

Pictured below are a couple of newcomers to Georgia’s roster for the fall: freshman Sacovie White (18) – who was in Athens and made noise this spring – along with a late pickup in the transfer portal from Oregon, defensive back Collin Gill (25).

Georgia has a history of exciting tight ends, and while Brock Bowers may be gone, that tradition should continue in 2024. The Bulldogs went out and added Stanford’s Ben Yurosek (84) in the offseason. Oscar Delp (4) and Lawson Luckie (7) both return for promising seasons while Jaden Reddell (23) is ready to try and earn some snaps as a true freshman.

Last but certainly not least of the players we got pictures of today were the defensive backs. Headlined by Malaki Starks (24), the back end of the Bulldog defense has tons of talent. Who wins out in the battle at safety is to be determined with Dan Jackson (17) and KJ Bolden (4) among the contenders. Also pictured is Chris Peal (27), who was practicing today with a black jersey, spending his time with the safeties and STARs as opposed to the cornerbacks like he did last season, alongside his fellow second-year defensive backs Kyron Jones (31) and Joenel Aguero (8).
