Rookie ratings released for Georgia draft picks on Madden 22
EA Sports’ Madden franchise has become the gold standard for football video games, and the final Ultimate Team cards for rookies from the 2022 NFL Draft in the latest version of the game were released on Wednesday. With 15 Georgia players drafted, including five in the first round, several were bound to be included.
Travon Walker
Travon Walker, the first overall pick to the Jacksonville Jaguars, was given a 99 overall rating with 85 speed, 94 acceleration, 98 strength, 98 tackling, 96 play recognition, 99 block shedding, 98 power moves and 91 finesse moves. Waker was the only draftee to have a 99 ranking and labeled as a power rusher.
Jordan Davis
The next Georgia draftee, Jordan Davis, came in with a 97 overall rating that included 84 speed, 88 acceleration, 98 strength, 94 tackling, 93 play recognition, 97 block shedding, 94 power moves and 83 finesse moves. Davis, selected No. 13 overall by the Philadelphia Eagles, was listed as a run stopper according to the game, a fitting title for his 6-foot-6, 340+ pound frame.
Quay Walker and Devonte Wyatt
Georgia had to wait until the 20s to hear the next Bulldog come off the board, and a pair of them did so to the Green Bay Packers. Quay Walker, a 96 overall rating with 94 speed, 96 acceleration, 87 strength, 96 tackling, 92 play recognition, 91 block shedding, 91 power and 85 zone coverage skills, was labeled as a field general for the Packers while Devonte Wyatt earned the title of a speed rusher with his 96 overall rating that included 86 speed, 89 acceleration, 97 strength, 93 tackling, 94 play recognition, 95 block shedding, 93 power moves and 95 finesse moves.

Lewis Cine
The final first round selection, both overall and to Georgia, went to Lewis Cine and the Minnesota Vikings. Cine, known for his zone coverage skills according to the game, earned a 96 overall rating with 97 speed, 96 acceleration, 86 tackling, 92 play recognition, 88 pursuit, 93 man coverage skills, 96 zone coverage skills and 96 power.
Second and Third Day Selections
- George Pickens – Listed at a 95 overall, Pickens is classified as a deep threat with 96 speed, 88 jumping, 95 catching, 93 catching in traffic, 95 spectacular catch, 91 short route running, 92 medium route running and 93 deep route running
- Nakobe Dean – Listed at a 95 overall, Dean is categorized as a field general with 93 speed, 95 acceleration, 88 strength, 93 tackling, 90 play recognition, 90 block shedding, 95 power and 84 zone coverage skills
- Jamaree Salyer – Maybe the most surprising player to be included given his selection in the sixth round, Salyer is listed as a 95 overall power left guard with 92 strength, 88 awareness, 94 pass blocking, 94 pass blocking power, 95 pass blocking finesse, 94 run blocking, 96 run blocking power and 92 run blocking finesse
