This week’s Georgia High School Football Game of the Week is Prince Avenue Christian at Hebron Christian Academy for the Region 8-2A Championship on Friday.
The Prince Avenue Wolverines are 6-3, and won their second-straight state championship last season. This could be a state championship type match as Hebron Christian, sitting at 8-1, could step up and stand in their way of a first round bye.

Andrew Beard, the sophomore running back at Prince Avenue, is the nephew of former Georgia running back Garrison Hearst. Hearst was a Heisman Trophy finalist in 1992 and a former first round NFL Draft pick. Beard’s had a huge year and is on the radar for many colleges already.
Hebron Christian: NC State athlete commit Gerritt Kemp is one of the state of Georgia’s top overall prospects. Two front seven players who stand out for Hebron Christian are seniors Carrington Coombs and Sichan John, who are committed to Georgia Tech and Virginia, respectively.
