Scott Cochran 'currently dealing with health issues', not with UGA program
Sources have confirmed reports that Georgia special teams coordinator Scott Cochran is not currently with the staff.
The Athletic was first to report the leave.
Kirby Smart issued the following statement:
“Coach Cochran is currently dealing with health issues and is taking time to prioritize his mental health and well-being. We fully support him as he takes this time to focus on his well-being.”
Cochran’s future with the program is unclear, though sources indicate that a return is expected at some point.
