Sedrick Van Pran is primed to beat up Georgia's opposition again: WATCH
Sedrick Van Pran speaks to the media this week as one of Georgia’s team representatives at SEC Media Days. He’s a real nice guy in a suit and tie behind a microphone.
He’s a little meaner in a Georgia football uniform.
I took a straw poll on the Dawg Walk message board (sign up for free for seven days and give it a look-see if you aren’t already on board) and asked how many people actually care about SEC Media Days.
As it turns out, the media people are slightly more excited and lathered up about this Conference Convention than some of the fans.
So I figured I’d give those of you who aren’t fired up for SEC Media Days a reason to be excited about Sedrick Van Pran.
I found a few clips of the Georgia football center beating up various Dawgs opponents. Hope you enjoy, like this one at Rocky Top:
Sedrick Van Pran: from 4-star prospect and a redshirt, to dominating Georgia football opponents
Sedrick Van Pran showed up to Georgia football with bad intentions out of New Orleans’s Warren Easton High School. He had to put those bad intentions on the back burner for a season – at least in game action.

Georgia redshirted Van Pran for a year of development under offensive line coach Matt Luke.
After that year of development and limited participation, Van Pran took the field as Georgia’s starting center. He didn’t miss a start during the Dawgs’ National Championship run.
That was bad news for Arkansas defensive lineman John Ridgeway:
Not only did Van Pran beat up on Georgia’s regular season opponents, he also took on the Tide
Van Pran started the majority of Georgia’s offensive plays with snaps to Stetson Bennett.
He also found ways to finish those plays against some future NFL talent in that Bama front seven. His experience is absolutely priceless going into the 2022 season.
Georgia’s entire offensive line, for that matter, has gotten a countless amount of valuable reps (if not starts) in Todd Monken’s system.
Yes, they’re playing for a new O-Line coach in Stacy Searels. But the in-game knowledge and feel is there.
And if you lined up against Sedrick Van Pran, it didn’t always feel good.
He’s an art major. He paints with a brutal brush.
I can’t wait to hear from the thoughtful, aggressive Big Dawg at SEC Media Days this week.
