Stetson Bennett NFL Combine measurements are in
Stetson Bennett measured in at the NFL Scouting Combine. The Mailman’s height is obviously a point of interest and criticism for many.
Bennett’s measureables didn’t hold him back from greatness at the College Football level.
The Heisman Trophy finalist won back-to-back National Championships and multiple postseason offensive MVP awards.
NFL Scouts always look for reasons not to draft a player, though. So we’ll see how much Stetson Bennett‘s measurements and workout results help and/or hurt him.
Per Stetson Bennett’s official NFL Combine measurements, he came in at 5’11”, 192 pounds. His arms measured out at 28 7/8″, and his hands are 10″.
Not surprisingly to internet sleuths, Bennett did come in taller than Alabama’s Bryce Young
The Crimson Tide Heisman Trophy winner did not quite stack up to Stetson Bennett’s height.
Young’s measurements list him at 5’10”, 204 pounds. His hands came in at 9 3/4″.
Both quarterbacks find themselves in the crosshairs of doubters who wonder about their respective statures.
For comparison, Kyler Murray also faced those doubts a couple years ago.
Murray measured up 5’10”, 207 pounds with 9 1/2″ hands.
As Georgia fans are quick to point out, Bennett’s height concerns came up in many a water cooler conversation as a potential reason why his skills won’t translate to the college game.
Meanwhile, many experts consider Young to be one of – if not the best quarterback in the draft.

NFL analysts just recently started doubting Bryce Young based on his size. Again, NFL General Managers and scouts will ultimately have the final say in how much that matters.
Ultimately, Stetson Bennett will have to prove once again that he is worthy of respect
He did it in college time and time again.
Two National Championships, two College Football Playoff Semifinal victories and a SEC Championship game victory will speak for themselves.
And if ‘anonymous scouts’ are to be believed, he did it without much ‘elite talent’ on the perimeter of Georgia’s offenses.
Whether he did or didn’t won’t matter for Stetson Bennett’s NFL career trajectory.
That’s on him to accomplish and earn. Maybe his NFL career doesn’t realize as much success as Bryce Young’s does.
At the end of the day, it’s just one inch on a measurement on paper.
Both players are studs and incredibly talented.
Bennett just has a steeper hill to climb for NFL franchises to believe in him – even with impressive ability, arm strength and accuracy.
Maybe that inch will come in handy down the line.
