The Georgia Show: Dawgs add another commit, on watch for more
We’re back! After missing Sunday for the Fourth of July holiday weekend, the DawgsHQ crew took to the airwaves of our YouTube channel on Wednesday night for another edition of The Georgia Show. Was there much to talk about? You know it!
Georgia has added a pair of commitments since we last chatted. First, on Friday, Longhorn State offensive lineman Michael Uini chose the Bulldogs over the likes of Michigan and Alabama. Then, just hours before the show, it was Daniel Calhoun deciding to stay in-state instead of going to play for his dad’s Crimson Tide. Chalk one up for the good guys here!
Stacy Searels sure is happy, and Georgia fans will be too when they get a look at these LARGE men. Coming in at 6-foot-7, 335 pounds and 6-foot-6, 365 pounds respectively, the Bulldogs are getting bigger.

That’s not all on the recruiting front. We talk about a couple of upcoming decisions that may be favoring the Dawgs. Joseph Jonah-Ajonye, also out of the state of Texas, moved his decision date up to Thursday. Friday brings on Nyier Daniels while with Saturday comes Marques Easley. Could Georgia go four days with four commitments? That’d be special, and it’s certainly seeming possible based on the predictions.

Five-star plus+ Georgia quarterback commit Dylan Raiola spoke with On3’s Pete Nakos for a story on his potential when it comes to an NIL platform in Athens. One of the things Raiola said about the Classic City and it’s connection to the state capital of Atlanta certainly sparked debate on social media. Is Georgia Atlanta’s team? We discuss that.
Finally, we’re Choppin’ Wood about Brock Bowers and SEC Media Days. Almost everybody expects to see the star tight end in Nashville in a couple of weeks representing Georgia, but what is it about the Bulldog that makes him so special? Put simply, he’s got the Dawg in him, and NFL experts are taking notice.
