The Georgia Show: Dawgs flash at the combine once again

Georgia puts on another show at the NFL Combine
In what’s become a bit of the norm at this point, the Georgia Bulldogs showed up and showed out in front of NFL organizations at the Combine in Indianapolis. Names such as Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins and Jared Wilson boosted their stock, but how far? Did Malaki Starks hurt his first round chances or do we feel that NFL teams aren’t likely to overthink the Georgia standout given how other Bulldogs have been able to thrive at the next level? And what of Arian Smith and his 40 yard dash? Was it a bust compared to our expectations? We dive in on all of the names you’ll be following when Draft Day rolls around with our thoughts across the board.
Rusty dives in on a special story
Speaking of the Combine, our man Rusty Mansell ran into an unexpected interaction on Sunday, as he bumped into the mother of former Georgia and soon-to-be drafted lineman Tate Ratledge out on the town in Rome. It made for an interesting interaction, as she was able to provide some insight into Tate’s journey, what this week meant to their family, and what the experience with the Dawgs was like for the formidable former Darlington star. It’s these kind of stories that make recruiting all the more special and fun to follow.
Spring practice is just one week away
It’s hard to believe, but we’ll be diving in fully on spring practice this time next week. What are we looking forward to discussing when it comes to the Dawgs getting back to the field? Who’s primed to generate some buzz? Is that Elijah Griffin hype train still full steam ahead? We’re looking at it from the 30000 feet view before it all comes down the pike with a quickness.
