Kirby Smart and Georgia players get real

It was clearly not Georgia’s finest day on the practice fields at the Butts-Mehre Complex, and Kirby Smart wasn’t shy about sharing why he thought so with the members of the media. Was this typical coach speak for this time of the year, or are the gripes coming from a real place of frustration with the current squad? Oscar Delp opened up on last year, as well, and his comments on his own situation and having a foot potentially out the door were quite eye opening and perhaps a potentially larger symptoms of the issues the team faced. Monroe Freeling opened on some similar issues from last year, speaking about the steps back the offensive line group took and why that may have been. It was one of the more honest sessions we’ve seen from the group, and we break down what it all may mean.

More love for Elijah Griffin

Speaking of honesty, standout defensive lineman Jordan Hall was quick with some praise newcomer Elijah Griffin as soon-to-be drafted defender Warren Brinson did during Pro Day. From calling the young man an ‘ox’ to comparing him to himself, Hall’s effusive praise only continues to build the expectations for the former five-star freshman. How do we feel about all the talk?

Georgia extends an intriguing offer

The Dawgs are looking for running back help in the Class of 2026, and on Tuesday, that became even clearer, with an offer to Sequoyah’s Will Rajecki. A rising star in the state with deep Georgia roots, we take a look at how he may factor into the board…and we think it could be in a major way.

A final pre-tourney discussion on the Hoop Dawgs

Can the Bulldogs take down the Bulldogs? Jake Rowe previews the matchup with the Zags, and Jake Reuse pretends to know things about basketball with the tourney looming on the immediate horizon.
