The Georgia Show: Early impressions of Georgia spring practice

The Georgia Bulldogs kick off spring practice
Between the official reinstatement of Colbie Young and Kirby Smart’s comments regarding his feelings on his staff, the Bulldogs did not enter spring practice quietly. What does having Young back in the fold mean for the future of the offense? Can he be the big-bodied threat the Dawgs had hoped he would be for the 2024 season? And will he and Noah Thomas be the twin towers duo that can create problems for opposing defenses week in and week out? Speaking of opposing defense, Kirby Smart offered a pretty definitive statement on how he feels when it comes to the coaches on his staff, despite a couple of the offensive members being a bit embattled in the eyes of fans. How do we feel about his statements when it comes to coaching room in Athens?
Pro Day: What caught our eye?
It was a much anticipated Pro Day for the likes of Chaz Chambliss and Dan Jackson, but Mykel Williams also managed to turn plenty of heads with his physique in the House of Payne. Who brought out the oohs and ahhs from scouts? Jake Rowe dives in on his day in the Georgia practice facility and who impressed him and likely boosted their stock (hint: a transfer tight end looked quite good on the hoof).

Warren Brinson doesn’t temper expectations for Elijah Griffin
Another major part of Georgia’s Pro Day? The now viral quote of Warren Brinson regarding freshman defensive lineman Elijah Griffin and his early performances on the field in Athens. The soon-to-move to the next level defensive lineman drew a more than favorable comparison to one of the best to come through Sanford Stadium in ages, and it raised plenty of eyebrows. Was it fair? How will Kirby handle it?

It was a quick stop in the NCAA tournament for the Georgia Bulldogs, but was that the worst thing? We dive in on what may await Mike White and the boys with Selection Sunday looming and where the Bulldogs may find themselves.
