G-Day is in the books for Georgia

The annual spring game has come and gone for the Georgia Bulldogs, and as usual, there was plenty to discuss. We largely went position-by-position, starting, of course, with the guys under center. How does the Gunner Stockton/Ryan Puglisi battle shape up as of today, and who does Rusty Mansell see as having the edge? Will this thing continue to drag on into the fall for the Bulldogs? Then, we turn our attention to a nice showing from a couple of young backs who managed to turn heard, particularly one who delivered on some immense hype in his debut in red and black. Pass catchers are all the rage in Athens after a big class in 2025, so who managed to take some steps forward for the Bulldogs on Saturday? Then, it’s time to talk trenches, and while a scrimmage isn’t always the best place to figure out who’s ready to go, it does provide some insight into who’s built right for the job. On the other side of the ball, it’s an embarrassment of riches at some spots, while we’re still scratching our heads as to who’s leading at others. We take the full look right here:

Standouts from G-Day

Justin Williams made his presence felt in a big way for the middle linebackers, but he wasn’t the only name that popped off the field for Georgia on Saturday. Is Daniel Harris season upon us in a big way? Bo Walker looks to be living up to his sizable offseason billing. JaCorey Thomas might have the inside track on major playing time in the deep field, and what of the logjam at cornerback with Ellis Robinson and Demello Jones patiently waiting to show they world what they have to offer? There were many names to touch on, and we try to hit them all.

Georgia recruiting begins to heat up again

The Dawgs added a new commit on Saturday, and we’ve got the scouting report, along with some insight from those who are close to the situation. Meanwhile, it was a star-studded affair on the sidelines for the game, as talent from around the country poured in to see Georgia in action on the field. With official visits and the scavenger hunt just around the corner, there’s plenty to keep your eyes peeled for, and we’re priming up for it.
