The Georgia Show: Kirby Smart and Stetson Bennett as the kings of College Football
It’s Monday morning, and you know what that means! The DawgsHQ crew took to the airwaves last night for another edition of The Georgia Show with LOTS to discuss.
We started off the show with some legacy talk. Alabama fans (and Oklahoma ones too trying to build some cred in the SEC already?) want to give Georgia Bulldogs a hard time about Stetson Bennett not graduating. However, as discussed on the show, his legacy in Athens is cemented on the field forever with a pair of National Championships.
How ’bout Kirby Smart? What’s it going to take for his larger legacy in College Football to surpass that of Nick Saban? Can he even as an understudy to Saban for so long in Tuscaloosa?
You won’t hear Smart say anything bad about his old boss, and neither do we on The Georgia Show. Both have their place in College Football history already (and that place continues to grow), and that’s just fine!
