Curtis and Cantwell – The latest from the Georgia angle

May is shaping up to be an all-important month on the recruiting trail, with two of that nation’s top prospects set to decide and shape the face of the Class of 2026 nationally. We kicked off this edition with the latest look at what we’re hearing about five-star quarterback Jared Curtis and five-star offensive tackle Jackson Cantwell, particularly where the Georgia Bulldogs are concerned. With looming decisions coming in short order, we break down how it all sits, the major considerations, and what has Georgia drawn in with both in a major way (there’s more to it than just those rankings, after all). Can the Bulldogs be the beneficiaries of two of the impact names in this cycle, or will they be left on the outside looking in and hoping for a December run? Here’s the latest:

Where do the Dawgs sit in the post-spring Top 25?

On3’s Andy Staples dropped his post-spring top 25 just recently, and the Dawgs checked in at the number eight spot? Fair or foul says we? What about the rest of the list? With plenty of questions abounding ahead of what is sure to be a wild 2025 season, we do our best to project why the Dawgs found themselves in that spot, where they could go from there, and how the rest of the nation seems to stack up at this point. Will Georgia exceed expectations or come crashing down to Earth?

Georgia hoops + baseball

It’s clear Mike White got the memo about what the Hoop Dawgs needed this offseason, as the transfer keep flowing in from the Bulldogs. Is Georgia adding the guard play it needs to compete in the league next season? Then, we’re looking at another important stretch for the Diamond Dawgs, who’ve floundered a bit but look to find their footing in a couple of key upcoming series. There are regional implications on the line. Are they up to that challenge?
