The Georgia Show: The first OV weekend is in the books

Georgia wraps up the first official visit weekend…
And it was a strong one for the Bulldogs. Georgia hosted several of the nation’s best to kick off June, and we look back on the likes of Kaiden Prothro and Khamari Brooks and what it all meant for them moving forward. With Mark Bowman off the board to the USC Trojans, it may seem that Prothro’s pursuit has intensified, but make no mistake — he was a major target on the board regardless. How do we see things playing out for the in-state standout as of now? We have thoughts. As for Brooks, there’s plenty of buzz when it comes to the Dawgs, but Bama is pushing heavily. Will the Bulldogs be able to hold off some formidable competition? We dive in on that, as well. Plus, Thomas Davis, Jr. was part of this weekend, and how cool would it be to see the legacy standout suiting up for the Bulldogs in the end? We touch on that and much more.
Carter Luckie commits to the Dawgs
Georgia didn’t leave the weekend without some good news, as the Bulldogs landed four-state defensive lineman Carter Luckie. Yes, he’s of that Luckie family, and yes, he’s Lawson’s brother, but there’s much to be said about a prospect of his ilk, who knows how Georgia handles its business in a unique way and has grown up around the program. Additionally, there aren’t a lot of guys built like Luckie, so there’s much to like about this pickup.

Official visits continue
The Bulldogs have another major weekend on tap, and it doesn’t just stop here. Still, on what was considered to be a slight weekend, they’ll have the nation’s top running back, Savion Hiter, on campus, as well as a host of other standouts. Kendall Guervil is a guy who has our attention, as well. Don’t sleep on the talent this go round.
Georgia baseball sees a quick exit
In a bit of a shocker after a big season, the Diamond Dawgs lost to Duke and Oklahoma State to end their run in the College World Series. What did we take away from this early boot and where does Wes Johnson’s team go from here? There are plenty of questions surrounding the Georgia Bulldogs and baseball, and we try to answer.
