Week two of the Georgia official visit season is paying massive dividends, with the Bulldogs landing a second commit in two days off of the weekend. This time, it’s three-star athlete Todd Robinson of Valdosta High who’s aboard for the Class of 2025.

The 5-foot-11, 195 pound do-it-all becomes Georgia’s twelfth commitment of the cycle and currently projects to defensive back for the Bulldogs, becoming the first pledge at that position in the class. Robinson currently ranks as the nation’s No. 418 overall prospect per the On3 Industry Ranking and is the No. 17 overall athlete for the cycle per the same metric.

Robinson was offered by the Bulldogs in late March, and since that time, they have been a consistent threat for his services. A major reason why? New running backs coach Josh Crawford, who spent time with the Valdosta Wildcats during his coaching career.

“What’s unique about Coach Crawford is he understands where I come from. He coached at my high school, and he knows how South Georgia football is,” Robinson told DawgsHQ shortly after the offer. “He also knows how to develop and make a player better.”

That bond continued to grow over the course of the recruitment, as well.

“Our relationship is good,” Robinson told DawgsHQ in late April. “He really believes in me. He was recruiting me to another school, and he moved there and has continued to recruit me. Coach Crawford feels like I have Power Five talent and he can relate to me because he used to coach here. He understands how we go in football here at Valdosta.”

While projected to safety, Robinson appreciates that the Bulldogs offer him a great deal of flexibility at the next level.

“I want to play DB in college and getting a chance to do that and having a high chance of getting produced to the league feels good,” Robinson said. “It helps a lot knowing that I could come in and not have to focus on one position and that things are still open and that if one position doesn’t work out, I can fall back on this one that’s a good feeling.”

With the addition of Todd Robinson, the Bulldogs currently have the nation’s No. 7 class in the 2025 cycle.
