Harris English will defend his Travelers Championship at TPC River Highlands this week. And the former Georgia golf Dawg will have company.

English returns to the site of his marathon playoff victory in 2021, in which he held off Kramer Hickok in a historic eight-hole effort.

Imagine playing 72 holes of golf right now. Then imagine playing eight more. Then imagine your wife is actually happy to see you when it’s over.

That’s what Harris English did last year.

He enters this tournament off of a missed cut at the Memorial Tournament, and a T61 at the U.S. Open. The Travelers Championship is just English’s third tournament back after recovering from hip surgery in February.

The Dawgs love the Travelers Championship

Harris English will have six other PGA Tour Dawgs join him in this year’s Travelers Championship. Not quite as impressive as last year, when Georgia had 11, which was a tour record.

Still, Georgia alums continue to keep their PGA Tour victory chances alive with all these Dawgs in the fold.

You can watch the Dawgs front and center when the Travelers Championship tees off Thursday. English is in a featured group with Patrick Cantrlay and Marc Leishman.

PGA Tour and social media darling Kevin Kisner will tee it up with Rory McIlroy and Webb Simpson.
