Georgia is set for another ranked road contest on Saturday at No. 16 Ole Miss and the first SEC-mandated availability report does not include Trevor Etienne in any capacity. The junior tailback didn’t play in the second half vs. Florida due to a rib injury. He was in a black non-contact jersey when Georgia practiced on Tuesday but Kirby Smart has maintained that the Bulldogs feel good about him playing.

It seems that senior linebacker Smael Mondon might have a chance to play. After being labeled out since the Auburn game in October, Mondon has been upgraded to questionable.

Sophomore defensive lineman Jordan Hall is listed as probable, the same as early last week. He has not played in either of the past two games despite being available. He was a game-time decision in the two games prior to that and hasn’t played yet this year after undergoing surgery on each of his tibias (shins) due to stress fractures.

Four Bulldogs are listed as out. Georgia will not have sophomore wideout and return Anthony Evans for the second straight game as he battles a hamstring injury. Running backs Roderick Robinson (toe) and Branson Robinson (knee) are also out. Freshman defensive end Joseph Jonah-Ajonye (lower extremity) is done for the season after surgery over two weeks ago.

Mondon is dealing with a foot injury that had him in a walking boot and using crutches for at least a couple of weeks. Mondon was limited most of last season with a foot injury and missed Georgia’s Orange Bowl beat down of Florida State. He also missed spring drills and the start of preseason camp but appeared in the first four games with 17 tackles, a half tackle for loss, and two pass breakups.

With Mondon out, Georgia has leaned heavily on CJ Allen, Jalon Walker, and Raylen Wilson at inside linebacker. Chris Cole, a true freshman from Virginia, has also seen an uptick in snaps of late, playing more than 20 in each of the past two contests.
