Georgia’s second availability report for Tennessee features some bad news. Bulldog running back Trevor Etienne, the team’s leading rusher, is out for Saturday’s game. Etienne sustained a rib injury against Florida two weeks ago and didn’t play in the second half of that game. He only had nine touches in the loss to Ole Miss last week.

The Louisiana native missed Georgia’s season-opening win over Clemson while he served a one-game suspension for a reckless driving charge in the spring. He has 95 carries for 477 yards and seven touchdowns on the year while also catching 23 passes for 140 yards.

He’s one of three Georgia running backs who are now out for this game, joining Branson Robinson and Roderick Robinson. The former has missed the past two games and has a chance to be back before the end of the regular season. The latter hasn’t played this season and is likely done until spring of 2025. The Bulldogs will also be without Joseph Jonah-Ajonye, a freshman defensive lineman.

Walk-on tailback Cash Jones (lower body) is still questionable but practiced on Thursday. He has played a much bigger role the past few weeks and caught a 22-yard touchdown against Florida. Jones also had UGA’s longest catch against Ole Miss, a 29-yard pickup in the third quarter.

Junior guard Micah Morris (lower body) and sophomore wideout Anthony Evans are also questionable. Morris missed the Ole Miss game after going down in Georgia’s win over Florida. He started the five previous games while Tate Ratledge, who is now back but short of 100 percent, recovered from knee and ankle sprains. Georgia was down to its third and fourth options at right guard against the Rebels as Ratledge had to come out of the game for stretches. Evans, who serves as Georgia’s kickoff and punt return man, has missed the past two games.

Georgia and Tennessee will play on November 16. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC. The Bulldogs are currently favored by 9.5 points according to the Vegas Insider consensus.
