WATCH: Georgia commit Landon Roldan shines in junior highlights
Georgia fans have seen guys like Landon Roldan come through Athens before. The Bulldogs are no stranger to the underrated, well-developed receiver. The three-star North Oconee product Roldan has a chance to be the next to do exactly that between the hedges after his commitment to his hometown team on Thursday.
Last season just down the road from his future collegiate stadium, Roldan put together an impressive junior season. He caught 50 passes for 1,029 yards and 13 touchdowns, also adding another three scores on the ground on 14 carries. You can check those out for yourself below…
Roldan is the fourth receiver to commit to Georgia in the Class of 2025. He joins Talyn Taylor, Tyler Williams and Thomas Blackshear in James Coley’s first class back in Athens. All three worked out for Coley since his hiring in February and committed in the months since.

On3 Evaluation
Landon Roldan is a fun evaluation. He’s a guy that got on the radar at camp at Georgia. Roldan ran in the low 4.4s on the laser. He has pretty good size. He had a productive junior year. Landon Roldan checks a lot of boxes. He’s a guy that you probably didn’t know the speed on him until he got to camp. I think it’s really encouraging of what he showed this summer. The biggest thing with him is going to be carrying that speed over to the field consistently on Friday nights. You see it at times but there are times when you’d like to see him play faster. He has that speed in him. He’s a guy that Georgia puts a priority on with camping and they value their in-person evaluations. That dates back to Kirby Smart and his days at Alabama. That was always a big piece of their evaluations. With Landon Roldan, you can trust the track record of the staff, evaluate guys, and find gems. Ladd McConkey was a great example of that in the past. I think you have to trust this evaluation. He’s a guy that has several positive markers. – Charles Power
